The CL9956 series is a high-precision, low-power, low-dropout, 3-terminal CMOS step-down voltage regulator. The CL9956 series can reach a maximum input voltage of 40V and provide an output current of 250mA with a very small input-output voltage difference while still maintaining a good regulation rate. The CL9956 series has a very low quiescent bias current (1.5μA Typ.).
The CL9956 series integrates over-current protection and short-circuit protection, integrated temperature protection, and has anti-power-on overshoot function for better protection output.
The CL9956 series is suitable for small footprints, low ESR ceramic capacitors.
The CL9956 series uses laser trimming technology and the output voltage can be selected from 1.5V to 12V in 0.1V increments.
